FAQ

What does "Unlimited" mean?

When we say unlimited, we mean exactly what you hear -- for one person, you can eat as much as you want. If you come to pick up your box and you think you'll eat more than what's in the box in the coming three or four days, you go right over to our salad bar and take a few containers more.

Can I make requests?

Certainly--in fact, we encourage it! We'd love for you to send us an email with any allergies you might have and any preferences you know of when you register. Of course, if you've never tried Cousin's food, just sit back, relax, and let our chefs create your raw menus for you!

How much notice do you need before I pick up my box?

We'd like you to call about an hour before you want to pick up your box, or about a day before you want your box delivered. Hey, you can start an hour from right now! Anytime from 11:30AM to 9:45PM, any day, you can pick up your box.

What if I go on vacation?

You can pause your pick-ups or deliveries at any time. Just let us know about 24 hours before you're supposed to get your delivery, and we will pause your deliveries for any length of time. If you pick up, you don't even need to let Cousin's know; we'll just see you when you get back.

Do you deliver to me?

Yes, we will deliver anywhere in Chicagoland, but the delivery cost is not built into the food package cost. Your delivery cost will depend on how far you live from Cousin's I.V. If you're in the near vicinity, you'll pay $10 straight to our driver--NOT including tip--for their gas and time. If you're in an outer suburb, we may ask that you pay up to $30, gas costing what it does these days.

How do you keep up with this program if so much of it is custom-crafted?

Easy! When you buy a food package program, you are buying a *number of boxes*, not a *period of time*. For instance, the three month program is twenty-four boxes (2 boxes per week for 12 weeks). So we just keep record of how many boxes you've received.
